Michael's clients drive his practice. As outside counsel to business owners, Michael's clients have a wide range of needs; and those needs drive his practice. Whether he is negotiating and drafting contracts, resolving commercial disputes, or handling complex litigation, Michael serves the needs of the business owner. Michael's desire is to consistently add value to his clients' businesses. He defines clear objectives, speaks and writes plainly, and delivers profitable, efficient results. In addition to providing counsel to business owners, Michael is the firm's go-to guy for acute litigation matters. Prior to shifting his practice to service small and medium sized businesses, Michael focused his practice on representing defendants in litigation matters in state, federal and appellate courts. Education and Licenses Michael received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1999 and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Management Information Systems from the University of Houston in 1993. He is admitted to practice in all Texas courts, the U.S. District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Memberships and Community Activity Michael is a member Dallas Bar Association. He has spoken on the topics of noncompetition, nondisclosure, and nonsolicitation agreements, and workplace privacy issues. In addition, as a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Michael had the opportunity to co-chair a committee dedicated to the continuing education of Dallas County Clerks and Coordinators and recognizing them for their hard work. In addition, Michael is currently a member of the Dallas Bar Association's Speakers Committee, a committee dedicated to community outreach and education. Personal Michael has been married to his lovely wife Cindy since January of 2000. He and his wife enjoy various outdoor activities including running, cycling and leisure walks around White Rock Lake. He has completed Marathons in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, and Houston. He proudly served his Country in Desert Shield and Desert Storm where his superiors recognized him for his service and leadership.
