In addition to advising business owners on employment law topics, Michael is the firm's go-to guy for acute litigation matters. For the past decade, Michael has focused his practice on representing defendants in employment and litigation matters in state, federal and appellate courts and on counseling small business owners on a variety of issues. Education and Licenses Michael received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in 1999 and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Management Information Systems from the University of Houston in 1993. He is admitted to practice in all Texas courts, the U.S. District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Memberships and Community Activity Michael is an active member Dallas Bar Association and the Garland Chamber of Commerce, where he speaks to business owners on such topics as non-compete and nondisclosure agreements and workplace privacy issues. In addition, as a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Michael had the opportunity to co-chair a committee dedicated to the continuing education of Dallas County Clerks and Coordinators and recognizing them for their hard work. Personal Michael has been married to his lovely wife Cindy since January of 2000. He and his wife enjoy various outdoor activities including running, cycling and leisure walks around White Rock Lake. He has completed Marathons in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, and Houston. He proudly served his Country in Desert Shield and Desert Storm where his superiors recognized him for his service and leadership.
