Kathy Cleveland

Kathy Cleveland practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and corporate transactions. Her estate planning practice includes will and trust preparation, federal estate and gift planning and business succession planning. Her probate experience includes participation and support in various will contests, representation in guardianships and dependent and independent administration of estates and assistance in trust administration. She has also devoted time to a general corporate practice with particular relevant experience in the areas of entity formations and maintenance, business acquisitions, divestitures and mergers and general corporate governance matters.

Ms. Cleveland received her bachelor's degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 1974. She received her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978 where she was a member of the legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi, and the Legal Research Board. Ms. Cleaveland was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1978 and is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas (Probate, Trusts and Estates Section), the Dallas Bar Association (Probate, Trusts and Estate Section), the Dallas Estate Planning Council, and the Estate Planning council of North Texas. Ms. Cleveland was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1952.
